Rusty Scupper Restaurant & Bar

Below is a press release that I drafted for Rusty Scupper Restaurant & Bar, located on Baltimore's Inner Harbor. I made an effort to entice potential eaters by highlighting the restaurant's incredible waterfront location, the vast array of specialty food and drinks available, and, of course, the talented and entertaining jazz band. If you're ever in town, be sure to check out the Scupper's brunch, every Sunday from 10am-2pm!

The Baltimore Station

Below is a press release that I drafted announcing Greg Hartman as the newest volunteer coordinator for The Baltimore Station, a non-profit located in Baltimore, MD. The organization provides a therapeutic residential recovery program that helps homeless men – primarily veterans – bound by drug and alcohol addiction to break the cycle and become self-sufficient members of society. I frequently volunteered for this organization while in high school, and still visit the residents during my breaks from Elon.

WYPR

Below is a press release that I drafted for WYPR announcing Jonathan D. Rogers as the newest board chairman. I especially enjoyed adding quotes to this press release, as it added a more intimate look into the character of Rogers, and how excited his colleagues were to welcome him to the NPR news station.

National Aquarium, Baltimore

The media advisory listed below announces the release of Iceman, a Kemp's Ridley sea turtle, to a new home in the waters of Assateague, MD. I loved working for the National Aquarium because its projects and programs were always interesting to write about!
